Mrs. Johnnie Mae Kight, age 92, beloved wife of the late Bill E. Kight Sr., of Soperton, passed away on Monday evening, February 5, 2018 at Serenity Place in Dublin, Georgia.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the graveside in Red Bluff Cemetery, Soperton with Reverend Tom Lawrence, officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Kight, a brother, George Davis and two daughters-in-law, Mae Kight and Vivian V. Kight.

She is survived by her two sons, Bill Edward Kight Jr., Sylvester, GA, Bobby L. Kight and his wife, Verlyn, East Dublin, GA, her two daughters, Gloria Wilson and her husband Billy, Scott, GA, Deborah Strickland and her husband John, Dublin, GA, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kight was born in Treutlen County and was the last living of two children born to the late John William and Gussie Mac Mosley Davis. She had made Soperton her home for many years except for a short time in Toombs County.

She had been a member at Lothair United Methodist Church.
