Mr. Joseph 'Joey" Beacham, age 32, of the Rockledge Community of Laurens County passed away on Tuesday morning, December 27, 2022.

Born in Dublin, Joey had been a lifelong resident of the Rockledge Community.  He had studied at Heart of Georgia Vocational Technical College and South Eastern Technical College where he obtained his Welding Certification.  He had worked as a Welder and Maintenance Millwright for various companies; most recently at Diamond Plastics in Macon.

He loved the outdoors; especially his turkey and deer hunting, fishing, the river, hiking and riding ATVs.  But, most of all, Joey loved God and his family.

Joey is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Oscar and "Beanie" Drew Beacham and his maternal grandmother, Wilma Bozeman Reeves.

He leaves behind his fiancé, Ashley Acree, children, Reese and Gunner, his father, Mike Beacham (Karen Thigpen), all of Rockledge, his mother, Lisa Ryser (David), Forsyth, GA, his sister, Crystal Clements (Kelly Rogers), Dublin, GA, nieces, Paige Stewart, Payton Clements, nephew, Dusty Hanson, uncles, aunts, cousins and many extended loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Akins officiating.

Joey will be laid to rest, beside his grandmother, in Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Rockledge, GA.

His family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, at the funeral home.
