Mrs. June Laquate Harrison, age 90 formerly of Soperton passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Douglas Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Florida.

Born in Treutlen County, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Lucille McLendon Parrish.  Mrs. Harrison was a lifelong resident of Soperton and had worked as the Cafeteria Manager at the Treutlen County Middle and High School until retiring in 2001.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, yardwork and had attended Red Bluff Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Felton Lee Harrison, who passed away in 1980, a daughter, Brenda Harrison, a sister, Shelby P. Nobles and a grandson, Zachary Harrison.

Mrs. Harrison leaves behind, two sons, Alan Kevin Harrison (Teresa), Yulee, FL, Tony Lee Harrison (Denise), Fernandina Beach, FL, one daughter, Teresa Weinberg, Yulee, FL, two sisters, Grace Meeks, Soperton, GA, Linda Walker (Garland), Gray, GA and multiple grand and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from the graveside in Westview Cemetery with her first cousin, Pastor Gilbert Posey and her nephew, Kerry Walker officiating.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday, at the graveside or friends may call at her home.
