Mrs. Junyth Hanson Meeks, age 85 of Warner Robins passed away on Sunday morning, December 20, 2020 in Macon, Georgia.

Born in Emanuel County, she was the daughter of the late Talmadge and Lessie Spivey Hanson, of Soperton. She was a Bibb County Educator where she retired after 35 years as the Bibb County Career Technical and Agricultural Education Director.

Mrs. Meeks was a faithful member and beloved Sunday School teacher at the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins.

She leaves behind, her husband of 45 years, Mack Arthur Meeks, Warner Robins, GA, daughter, Regina Flanders (Herb), Fayetteville, GA, son, Mickey Meeks (Vicky), Bonaire, GA, grandchildren, Miles Flanders, Griffin, GA, Cole Flanders (Alecia), Augusta, GA, April Meeks, Atlanta, GA, Michael Meeks (Emily), Augusta, GA, Matthew Meeks, Kathleen, GA, great granddaughter, Hazel Flanders, Augusta, GA, future great grandson, Baby Boy Meeks, Augusta, GA and special friends, Kevin and JoLee Horne, Bradley, Jeremy and Bethany Horne and Kyndall, Natalie and Dawson Horne.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from the graveside in Westview Cemetery, Soperton, GA with her son in law, Reverend Herb Flanders officiating.

Her family will receive friends, on Tuesday, at the graveside and request that present social distancing and facial covering guidelines be observed.
