Miss Katherine worked as a Book keeper with the Treutlen County School System from August of 1988 until her passing. After working all day she would come home and help Mr. Jerry in the fields of cotton, tobacco, peanuts and Vidalia onions; up into the night or as long as it took to finish the day's chores. In addition to her love of playing basketball, she enjoyed playing Recreation Department softball for Treutlen County.
She and Mr. Jerry had attended Orianna Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Ernest "Nick" Arrington Jr. who passed away in 2020.
