Mrs. Kathleen Hackle, age 79, of Soperton died Friday, April 29, 2016.
Mrs. Hackle was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Nettie Mathis Cooper; husband, Billy Hackle; son, Grant Hackle; sisters, Reba Nobles, Lounell Mosley, and Otha Green; and brothers, Charlie Cooper, Ray Graham, and Avalon Graham. She was retired from Forstmann, East Dublin, after thirty-six years, and was a member of Soperton Trinity Assembly of God.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy (Hilton) Joiner and Lisa Hackle of Soperton; grandchildren, Shawn (Leslie) Swain, Adam (Angie) Hackle, and Amy (Jarvis) Jackson; great-grandchildren, Cody Swain, Zackery Hackle, Destiny Mincey, Michael Watson, Sierra Mullis, Ridge Swain, Branton Hackle, Kaitlyn Hackle, Olivia Hackle, and Leah Hackle; sister, Evelyn Slavic of Long Island, NY; special nephew, Chester Mosley of Soperton; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, with the Reverend James Rayburn officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Soperton.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Shawn Swain, Adam Hackle, Cody Swain, Zachery Hackle, Ridge Swain, and Branton Hackle.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday one hour prior to the funeral service.
