Kathy Jean Hattaway, age 64 formerly of Dublin passed away at Fairview Park Medical Center in Dublin on Tuesday afternoon, January 22, 2019.

Born in Dublin, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Betty Ruth Jackson Gillis. She grew up in Treutlen County where she attended Treutlen High School. She moved to Douglas and worked at the Wal Mart Distribution Center in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She left Douglas and moved to Toombs County in 2008.

She enjoyed any outside activity, cooking and especially sewing. Her family recalls her sewing their Halloween costumes and making props for their school activities.

She leaves behind, her son, Kevin Manning (Selena), Soperton, GA, a sister, Karen Pike, Douglas, GA, grandchildren, Amber Manning, Jasmine Connell, Blake Weatherly, Bryce Manning, Ashley Nipper, Nikki Nipper, several great grandchildren and a niece, Paula K. Meek.

Services will be held at a later date.
