Mr. Lance Hackle, age 47, beloved husband of Rena Richardson Hackle, of Soperton passed away on Saturday afternoon, October 12, 2019 at their home.

Born in Swainsboro, Lance was the son of the late Robert Lamar Hackle and Judy Lawrence Hackle Selph. He was a lifelong resident of Soperton and had attended Treutlen County High School. Lance had always worked in Industrial Construction and was currently the Owner and Operator of Hackle's Welding and Fabrication. He was a generous man that loved animals, children, showing others a good time, having friends over to his house, poking fun at those friends and being at home with his family.

If a man's generosity could be measured by his number of friends; his could not be measured, as his circle of friends is immeasurable.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Alene "Sug" Lawrence.

Lance leaves behind, his wife of 23 years, Rena Hackle, Soperton, GA, daughter, Ashley Meeks, Soperton, GA, his mother, Judy Lawrence Selph (J.D.) Mt. Vernon, GA, maternal grand father, Jack Lawrence, Soperton, GA, a brother, Troy Willard Hackle (Sybil), East Dublin, GA, two sisters, Carol Lynn Barwick (Bruce), Soperton, Rhonda Leigh Hackle, Lyons, GA, uncles, Greg Lawrence, Soperton, GA, Bobby Hackle (Hilda), Dublin, GA  and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 17, 2019 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Sweat officiating.

Lance will be laid to rest in Westview Cemetery,

Serving as pallbearers will be: Lance Hooks, Britt Odom, Mitch Williamson, Jason Fennell, Michael Coleman, Holt Barwick, Matt Peeples and Steve Strickland.

His family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.
