Mrs. Leila B. Davis, age 93, of Dublin died Saturday, June 25, 2016.

Mrs. Davis was born in Scott, GA and was preceded in death by her parents, Uzziah and Pearl Carter Thigpen; sons, Robert Davis and Bill Davis; brothers and sisters, Handel Thigpen, Johnnie Mae Stewart, Martha Goodwin, Nuburn Thigpen, Jessie Nell Christian, Trudie Hester, Pearly Thigpen and Sarah Burel. She was a graduate of Soperton High School and attended Rabon Gap College. She was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church, Treutlen County, and was retired from the General Electric Corporation.

Survivors include a son, Michael (Diane) Davis of Somersworth, NH, a sister, Jane Alexander of Lawrenceville, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
