Mr. Lemmie Edward (L.E.) Owens, age 67, of Alamo died Thursday, August 25, 2016.

Mr. Owens was a lifelong resident of the Cedar Grove community and was preceded in death by his parents, Lemmie and Bernice Crawford Owens, and a sister, Ann Taylor. He was a farmer and was of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Chastain Owens; step-daughter, Ann (Keith) Hobbs of Albany; step-grandchildren, Brad (Lauren) Hobbs and Tristan (Katie) Hobbs all of AL; three step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lerone (Hope) Owens of Cairo and Steve (Teresa) Hardeman of Dublin.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 3, at 11 a.m. at the home of L.E. and Margaret Owens, 3430 Highway 126, Alamo, GA 30411.
