Mr. Leon Roberts, age 69, of Dalton died Sunday, November 27, 2016.

Mr. Roberts was born in Ailey and was preceded in death by his parents, J. C. and Lennie Smallpiece Roberts, and his grandson, Christopher Lane Roberson.  He was a truck driver for Brown Printing Company, Dalton.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Dykes Roberts; children, Nicole (Dewayne) Robertson of Chatsworth, Shelia (Tim) Adams and Robert (Amy) Roberson, all of Lyons, and Samantha (Josh) Garland of Calhoun; grandchildren, Jed Adams, Madison Adams, Emilee Roberson, Darby Roberson, Olivia Garland, Wesley Garland, Aaron Garland, and Kaylee Robertson.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, with the Reverend John Young, Sr. officiating.  Burial will be in Nabb Cemetery, Montgomery County.

Pallbearers will be Robert Roberson, Tim Adams, Josh Garland, Wesley Garland, Jed Adams, and Clint Brantley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and may be reached at the home of Shelia and Tim Adams, 230 Old Kirkland Road, Lyons, GA  30436.
