Mr. Leroy Hines, age 81, beloved husband of the late Carolyn Diane Cooper Hines, of Riverdale, Georgia passed away early Thursday morning, July 13, 2023 at the Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Georgia.

Born in Lexsy, GA, he was the son of the late Lee and Gertrude Black Hines.  Mr. Hines had worked for over forty years in the Real Estate Industry as a Properties Management Facilities Maintenance man.  Mr. Hines was a devoted husband to his wife and a caring father, grandfather and great grandfather.

His wife passed away in February of 2021.  They had been married for fifty nine years.

He leaves behind his daughter, Leona Hines of Grey Court, SC, his son, Lee Hines and his wife Regina of Riverdale, GA, ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2023 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Thomas officiating..

Mr. Hines will be laid to rest beside his wife in Westview Cemetery.

His family will receive friends on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 1:00 pm until the hour of service.
