Mrs. Linda Johnson, age 66, of Soperton, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Emanuel County and was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Clarence Sellers and Katie Pearl Durden Sellers; brothers and sisters, Eloise Wingard, Martha Willhite, Robert Sellars, Danny Sellars, Earl Sellars, John H. Sellers and Annette Hester. She was employed with Jet Food Stores, Soperton, until her retirement in the mid 1990's. She was a member of Mount Vernon Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her children, Violet and Chad Steptoe Cox and Blake and Ashley Johnson, all of Soperton; grandchildren, Allison Johnson, Cameren Johnson, Chassidy Johnson, and Toni King, all of Soperton; sisters, Dorothy Sumner, Rosie Durden, Susie Graham, and Betty (James) Thigpen, all of Soperton; brother, Dinky (Glenda) Sellers of Soperton; and many nieces and nephews.

At her request services will be private. Linda will be laid to rest in the family section of Heath Cemetery, with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
