Mrs. Louise Pollette Sumner, age 88, beloved wife of the late Charles W. Sumner, of Soperton passed away on Saturday afternoon, December 23, 2017 at the Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sumner will be laid to rest beside her husband in Red Bluff Cemetery, Treutlen County.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Sumner is preceded in death by her parents, John Quincy and Emma Joyce Pollette, two brothers, Earl and Frank Pollette and a sister, Carolyn Johnson.

A native and lifelong resident of Soperton; she is survived by her two sons, Charles Stacy Sumner and his wife Montene, Soperton, Georgia, Earl Damon Sumner, Soperton, Georgia, a grandson, Brandon Sumner, Savannah, Georgia, a grand daughter, Brandi Sumner, Augusta, Georgia and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Keith Pollette, Ken Pollette, Brandon Sumner, Matt Ricks, Bobby White and Jerry Spainhour.
