Ms. Marolyn Jeanette Wheeler, age 79, of Vidalia passed away on Sunday afternoon, June 17, 2018 at Oxley Park Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lyons.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Smith officiating.

Ms. Wheeler will be laid to rest in the Beasley Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Born in Treutlen County, she was one of eleven children born to the late Nicholas Charles and Bertha Mae Beasley Coleman. Mrs. Wheeler was a lifelong homemaker and lived the majority of her life in Lyons and Vidalia.

She was a member of New Beginning Church of God in Lyons.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne King and siblings, Nicholas Coleman, Dan Coleman, Helen McFee, Carolyn Coleman and Margaret Coleman.

Survivors include, her children, Brenda King, Vidalia, GA, Mark Bird (Dawn), Glennville, GA, James King, Vidalia, GA, Bill King Jr. (Charley Rae), Grantsburg, WI, Debra Toole (Herbert), Vidalia, GA, Anthony King (Michelle), Vidalia, GA, siblings, Sterling Coleman, Vidalia, GA, William Coleman, Venice, FL, Sadie Pearl Byrd, Glenwood, GA, Clarsia Gillis, Vidalia, GA, Geraldine Cauley, Soperton, GA, nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
