Maury H. Anderson, age 64 of East Dublin passed away on Sunday evening, August 30, 2026 at Memorial Health in Savannah.

Born in Vidalia, he was the son of the late William Horace “Bill” Anderson and Marcella Molina Anderson. Maury grew up in Glenwood and was a graduate of Wheeler County High School, Class of 1980. He had always worked as a Crane Operator and was a member of the Pipe and Steam Fitters Local No. 474 in Augusta. He worked many power plant and saw mill shutdowns until retiring in the 2000s.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Butch Anderson and Stephen Rogers.

He leaves behind: his longtime caregiver, Tonya Ann Lewis, East Dublin, siblings, Angie Anderson, Acworth, GA, Randy Anderson, Tarrytown, GA, Ray Rogers, Carla Rogers, both of Glenwood, GA and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
