Mr. Michael Ennis, age 57 of the Zaidee Community of Soperton passed away on Wednesday afternoon, October 28, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.

Born in Savannah, he was a son of the late Shelley Lee and Lelia Mae Hayslip Ennis. Mike grew up in Adrian and Soperton and attended school in Treutlen County. Mike had worked as a Truck Driver for many years; working with Ernie Herndon, Lockes Logging and Maxine Griner Trucking. He was a gentle man; honest, selfless and always put others before himself. He enjoyed Blues music and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Mike attended the Norristown Revival Center.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Ennis.

Mike leaves behind, his wife, Debbie McDaniel Ennis, Soperton, GA, his children, Misty Ennis Summerville (Tifanie), Michael Lee Ennis (Deadra), Christopher Todd Ennis, all of LaGrange, GA, a brother, Doug Ennis, Vidalia, GA, two sisters, Reba Spell, Winterhaven, FL, Marlynn Phillips, Soperton, GA, eight grandchildren, Angel, Anthony and Andrew Summerville, Lexie, Kenzie and Brandon Ennis, Joslynn and Hayden Ennis, a special nephew, Jeromie Holland and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 1, 2020 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Stafford officiating.

Mr. Ennis will be laid to rest in the Heath Cemetery.

His family will receive friends on 1:00 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
