Natha Avery Lodesky died December 9, 2017 at Quality Health of Fernandina Beach in Fernandina Beach, FL. She was ninety-five years old.

She was born in Emanuel County, GA on January 29, 1922 and graduated from Adrian High School Class of 1938.  She lived in Adrian, GA, New York City, NY, Atlanta, GA and Fernandina Beach, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Lodesky, her parents, Ernest and Maggie Bell Foskey Avery, her sisters, LaNelle Avery Wyatt, Ernestine Avery Wilson, and Audrey Faye Avery Brantley, and a brother, LaFon Avery.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Lodesky Hardy of Fernandina Beach, FL; grandsons, Scott Patrick Hardy (Jina) of Suwanee, GA, and Michael Thomas Hardy (Mandi) of Canton, GA; great-grandchildren, Daniel Patrick Hardy, Matthew Michael Hardy, and Savannah Ashley Hardy; brother, Wayne Avery (Ina) of Soperton; brother-in-law, W. J. Wilson ­­­­­­­­­­­of Lake Sinclair; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Reverend Tommy Veal officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Adrian.

Pallbearers will be Scott Hardy, Michael Hardy, Daniel Hardy, Matthew Hardy, David Avery, and Richard Avery.
