Mrs. Patricia Angela "Angel" Loyd Cain, age 52, beloved wife of Jason Cain, of Dublin passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, November 5, 2024 at Memorial Health in Savannah.

Born in Dublin, she was the only daughter and fourth of five children born to Katherine Louise Morris Loyd and the late Rollin "Billy" Dewitt Loyd.  She grew up in East Dublin where she attended school.  She lived in Rockledge and Soperton for a short time but was primarily a lifelong resident of Laurens County.

Angel worked as a Beauty Consultant and Artist for Estee Lauder at Belk Department Store.    She enjoyed flower gardening, making silk floral arrangements, crafting and creating holiday themed home décor.  Her days were not complete without an episode of Court TV or Dancing with the Stars.   Angel coveted her quiet time reading a romance novel or accepting the challenge of a new puzzle book.  Her husband enjoyed sponsoring her shopping trips and supporting her love of new clothes.  They were happiest together when riding on his Harley Davidson.

Angel attended Minter Baptist Church in the Minter community and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cadwell.

In addition to her father, Billy Loyd, she is preceded in death by: siblings, Morris Loyd, James Loyd, America Loyd, Courtney Loyd and Lonnie "Lonnie Mac" McDonald.

Angel leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of eighteen years, Jason Cain, Dublin, GA, her children; Jeremy Morris Garner (Melody), Dublin, GA, Bethany Newby (Kyle), Jeffersonville, GA, Devan "Red" Malone Loyd, Dublin, GA, four brothers; Monty Loyd, Tracy Loyd (Jenny), Jason Loyd (Elizabeth), Anthony Loyd, four sisters: Megan Loyd, Ashlin Loyd, Lillianna Loyd, Storm Loyd, all of East Dublin, GA, three grandchildren, Leland Wilson, Zayden Garner, Blaze Newby and many loved and cherished nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2024 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Reverend James Allen and Reverend Rusty Brown officiating.

Angel will be laid to rest in the Minter Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Josh Brooks, Christopher Peterson, Tyler Peterson, Kalem Loyd, Kasey Loyd and Austin Loyd.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 1:30 p. m. until the hour of service.
