Paul Anderson Mulling Jr. passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 59, due to injuries sustained in a tragic motor vehicle accident.
Paul was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Known for his kindness and sense of humor, he touched the lives of many with his generosity and warmth.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jasper and Mavis Mulling; his maternal grandparents, Hendrix and Louise Fountain, grandmother, Louise Sellers; and stepfather, James Myers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Mulling; his parents, Paul and Barbara Mulling of Soperton, and Linda Myers of Brunswick, his children: Paul Mulling III, Kymberly (Daniel Thomas) and Alena Mulling.
Paul was a proud grandfather to Delilah, Ariana, Novalee, Blake, Sofia, and Isabella.
He leaves behind his sisters, Pamela Jones and Lyndee Myers (Francisco Ramirez); brothers, Phillip (Michelle) Mulling, Greg (Jane) Martin, and Lenny Blankenship and best friend, Tony Fulford.
Paul is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Heather Sumner (Trey Rozier), Hannah Sumner (Curtis Gay), Nick Sumner (Kourtney Marsh), Taylor (Dustin) Briggs, Noah Mulling, Brianna Mulling, Matthew Martin (Todd McElmurray), Brandon (Baili) Martin, Shelby Ryals (Billy Christian), Alex Ramirez and Bradley Griffin; great nephews and nieces: Tate, Hayes, Xiimelo and Miley Kate.
Paul was self-employed as a roofer and took great pride in his work. He was a man of faith and attended Liberty Church, where he found his spiritual strength.
In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching sports—especially the Georgia Bulldogs—as well as spending time with his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy will continue through his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton, Georgia, and will be officiated by his father, Paul A. Mulling Sr., and his brother, Greg Martin.
Paul will be laid to rest in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Glenwood.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Phillip Mulling, Noah Mulling, Nick Sumner, Tony Fulford, Derack Fulford and Vince Habersham.
His family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 o'clock a. m. until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
In lieu of food and flowers, contributions in his honor may be made to Sammons Funeral Home, P. O. Box 48, Soperton, GA 30457
