Mrs. Pauline B. Hutcheson, age 64 of Soperton passed away on Sunday morning, March 11, 2018 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Miller, officiating.

Mrs. Hutcheson will be laid to rest beside her husband in Hutcheson Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Born in Swainsboro she was the only daughter of four children born to the late Lonnie Watson and Sallie Lou McKenzie Wommack. She grew up in Swainsboro and was a 1971 graduate of Swainsboro High School. She married Russell Hutcheson in 1979 and came to Soperton in the early 1980s. She worked at Oxford Manufacturing for a number of years as a Training Supervisor. Pauline attended Swainsboro Tech from where she graduated in December of 1997. After graduation, she remained on staff at the school until joining the State of Georgia Department of Family and Children Services in June of 2002.   She worked with DEFACS as a Case Manager until retiring in December of 2015. Her husband passed away in September of 2016.

In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Ronnie Wommack.

Survivors include, her children, Will Hutcheson (Leigh), Swainsboro, GA, Eric Hutcheson (Janice), Celina, OH, Joe Hutcheson (Crystal), Soperton, GA, Christy Morrison, Soperton , a brother, Tommy Wommack (Jane) Swainsboro, fifteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a very special sister in law, Janet Hutcheson of Soperton and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews, Timothy Trull, Eric Hutcheson, Jonathan Hutcheson, Jacob Hutcheson, Andrew Hutcheson, Ron Wommack and John Wommack.
