Mrs. Reba P. Young, age 86, of Macon died Friday, October 20, 2017.

Mrs. Young was born in Laurens County and had lived most of her life in East Dublin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dollie Rogers Pope; son-in-law, Phillip Tucker; brothers, Sentell Pope and Jack Pope; and sisters, Allene Arneson, Lela Warnock, Ouida Bush, and Cleo Fulford.  She was retired from J.P. Stevens/Forstmann, East Dublin, and attended East Dublin Assembly of God.

Survivors include two daughters, Lawanda Tucker of Macon and Lisa (Gregg) Raffield of Macon; six grandchildren, Joshua Raffield, Evan Raffield, Sydney Tucker, Jake Tucker, Zack Tucker, and Whitney (Charlie) East, all of Macon; and one great-grandchild, Tucker East of Macon.

Services will be held in the Union Baptist Church, East Dublin, at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 22, with Reverend Hugh Spivey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joshua Raffield, Evan Raffield, Jake Tucker, and Zack Tucker, son-in-law, Greg Raffield, and nephew, Wayne Kemp.

A visitation will be held at the church one hour before services.
