Rebecca Jane Flury "Becky" Murray, age 72 of Vidalia died at her home on Thursday evening, November 9, 2017.

Born in Boone County, WV she was the daughter of the late William Bryant and Sylvia D. Stone Flury. Becky had been a lifelong resident of Soperton until moving to Vidalia in the early 1970s. She had worked at various manufacturing jobs in the area to include the Soperton Shirt Factory and Oxford Manufacturing Company in Vidalia and Lyons until retiring as a Machine Operator after over 29 years.  Becky lived a good life and had a giving and caring spirit which was demonstrated by her sewing and quilting for others in need. She was member of the Vidalia Women's Bowling League from where she received various trophies.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Will Flury and Earnest Wayne Flury. Survivors include a son, Anthony "Tony" Murray, two brothers, William Bryant Flury and his wife, Fran; Ricky Flury and his wife Erin, all of Glenville, GA and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm on Sunday, November 12, 2017 in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton, GA with J.D. Selph, officiating.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, at the funeral home, from 10:00 am until the hour of the service.

Becky will be laid to rest in Red Bluff Cemetery.
