Mr. Rhodus Edge, Jr., age 85, of Lyons passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Mr. Edge was a native of Treutlen County and was preceded in death by his parents, Rhodus Edge, Sr. and Eva Stanford Edge, two sons, James Solie and Roy Allen Edge, and a grandson, Jimmy Allen Edge.  He was retired.

Survivors include his children, Danny Edge of Soperton, Rickey and Linda Edge and Billy Edge, all of Lyons, and Gerald and Judy Solie of Lyons; five grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, December 12, with Steven Repac officiating.  Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Treutlen County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
