Mr. Timothy Robert "Robbie" Vaughn II, age 39, of Tarrytown passed away on Monday afternoon, May 14, 2018 at his residence.

Born in Charleston, SC, his family moved to Treutlen County when he was an infant. He grew up in Soperton and was a graduate of Treutlen County High School, Class of 1997 where he played football and was a State Wrestling Champion.

Robbie was a fan of NASCAR and had enjoyed racing in the hobby class at Pecan Park in Jacksonville and Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Rev. Bill Sweat, who passed away in 2009 and his step father, Ricky Clark Meeks, who passed away in 2003, his paternal grandparents, Harry and Norma Lee Vaughn and other family members.

Robbie leaves behind his mother, Kay Vaughn Meeks, his daughter Zoey Vaughn of Tarrytown, GA, his father, Tim Vaughn (Ginger), Palatka, FL, his maternal grandmother, Editha Brantley Sweat Hester (Rayford), Dublin, GA, his maternal step grandmother, Faye Meeks, Tarrytown, GA, his sister, Tabatha Rene Meeks, Dudley, GA, his brother, Jeffery Bill Vaughn (Ashley White), Tarrytown, GA, a stepsister, Samantha Vaughn, stepbrother, Jordan Vaughn, all of Palatka, GA a special aunt and uncle, Beth and Andy Loosberg of Vidalia and many other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from the graveside in Harmony Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Mark Sweat, officiating.

His family will receive friends on Thursday at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory.
