Mrs. Robbie Lee Lord, age 95 of Adrian passed away on Tuesday afternoon, September 18, 2018 at the Scott Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Scott, Georgia.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 21, 2018 in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with the Reverend Kenny Edge officiating.

Mrs. Lord will be laid to rest in Westview Cemetery in Soperton.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Born in Emanuel County, she was one of nine children born to the late Robert Daniel Rigdon and Hannah Roundtree.

Mrs. Lord was a very devoted Christian of the Holiness faith. She worked as a seamstress for 40 years at the Soperton Manufacturing Company; before retiring. Mrs. Lord enjoyed sewing clothes, making quilts and other sewing related projects. She enjoyed painting as well as writing and singing Christian songs.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lord is preceded in death by her husband, William Robert "WR" Lord and two children, Robert Daniel "Danny" Ruis and Francis Gail Monroe (Junior).

She is survived by two children, Joan Hall, Richard Lord (Bernice) and a brother, Arlis Rigdon. Mrs. Lord has eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Bruce Barwick, Earl Barwick, Corey Barwick, Coty Barwick, Holt Barwick, Cody Benz and Maxwell Yanken.
