Mr. Robert O. Strickland, age 56, of Laveen, AZ died Tuesday, January 10, 2017.

Mr. Strickland was born in Albany, GA and was preceded in death by his parents, James Donald "Don" and Cherie Hall Strickland.  He graduated from Clark High School at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines and enlisted in the US Air Force where he served his country for six years.  After an honorable discharge from the Air Force, Robert was employed with a travel company as a C.T. Technologist.  While he was working in Phoenix, AZ, he met his wife, Jennifer Tsianos.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Tsianos Strickland; a sister and her husband, Donna and Rick Bone, of Soperton; father-in-law, Tom Tsianos; mother-in-law, Lorraine Sholes; step-father-in-law, Frank Sholes; sister-in-law, Yeoryia Sholes, brother-in-law, Frankie Sholes; and several nieces and a nephew.

Memorial services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, with the Reverend John Drake officiating.
