Mr. Robert Calhoun Ware, Sr., age 72, of Dublin died Saturday, July 29, 2017.

Mr. Ware was born in Toombs County and was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Wilson Ware, Sr. and Frankie Calhoun Ware, and his son, Robby Ware.  He was a veteran of the United Navy Submarine Service where he served on the USS Tusk.  He was retired from Triple C Trucking, Wrightsville, and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Debbie Calhoun Ware; daughters, Holly Amanda Ware of Salem, AL and McKinsey Louise Ware of Dublin; sisters, Judy (Lamar) Wommack of Morganton, NC and Janet (Frank) Littleton of Broxton; brothers, Woody (Marilyn) Ware of Aiken, SC, Richard Ware of Soperton, and John (Betty Sue) Ware of Dublin; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
