Mr. Ronald Hooks, age 58, of Soperton died Sunday, September 4, 2016.

Mr. Hooks was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was preceded in death by his parents, Denton and Pearl Cauley Hooks. He was a former employee of Vertex, Soperton, and was a member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, Treutlen County.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Carey Hooks; children, Marsha (Matthew) Morris of Alamo and James Hooks of Glenwood; grandchildren, Madison Morris, Brenton Hooks, Bryleigh Hooks, Kensleigh Hooks, and Karleigh Hooks; sisters, Jeraldine (Donnie) Murphy of East Dublin and Tonya (Jeff) Hooks of Soperton; brothers, Russell Hooks and Keith (Barbara) Hooks, all of Soperton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, with Reverend E. E. Beasley and Reverend Paul Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Faith Tabernacle Cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service Tuesday and may be reached at the home of Jeff and Tonya Hooks, 1078 Midway Church Road, Soperton, GA.
