Ronald E. Lawrence Sr., age 68 of Vidalia passed away on Sunday evening, March 23, 2025 at Memorial Health Meadows in Vidalia.

Born in Elouise, Florida, he was one of five children born to the late Roscoe Lawrence Sr., and Thelma Louise Norris Lawrence.  His family moved to Soperton while he was in his teenage years, where he lived for many years before locating to Toombs County in the 1990s.

Mr. Lawrence had worked for Heilig – Myers Furniture in Vidalia, had owned and operated M & R  Restaurant in Lyons.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, James Edward Lawrence, Roscoe "Jabo Lawrence Jr., a sister, Vickie Lawrence McCumbers and a great grandson, Keith Brinson Jr.

Mr. Lawrence leaves behind, his wife, Mildred Oliver Lawrence, Collins, GA, his children, Ronald Eugene Lawrence Jr., Soperton, GA, Christina Lawrence, LaGrange, GA, step children, Dianne Mosley, Midway, GA, Thomas Stringer, Florida, Patricia Stringer, Vidalia, GA, Sheila Barrow in AZ,  his only living brother, Tommy Norris, Milledgeville, GA, grandchildren, Alyssa Marion, Jarrod Marion and several nieces and nephews.
