Mr. Ronnie Lee "Cue Ball" Henry, age 73, of Soperton, passed away on Monday afternoon, February 24, 2020 at his residence.

Born in Vidalia, GA, he was one of five children born to the late Edgar Lee and Beatrice Ely Henry. Mr. Henry grew up in Soperton and was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County. He had been driving trucks since the age of 16 and made his living and supported his family driving for various area construction companies until retiring in 2012.

He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and had attended Red Bluff Baptist Church and most recently at Hebron Holiness Church.

Mr. Henry enjoyed gardening, yardwork, fishing and old western movies.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Edward Reed of New Hope, AL.

He leaves behind, his wife of 42 years, Bobbie Jean Kelly Henry, Soperton, GA, children; Rachel Bordeaux (Kris), Buford, GA, Kelly Dudley (Heath), Soperton, GA, Ronnie "Lee" Henry Jr. (Victoria), Tarrytown, GA, three sisters, Nell Phillips (Troy), Soperton, GA, Dianne Edge (Don), Soperton, GA, Betty Watson (Marvin), Mt. Vernon, GA , seven grandchildren, Austin, Madison, Alexis, Liam, Dylan, Landon, Brayson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 27, 2020 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Reverend Gilbert Posey officiating.

Mr. Henry's family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home or friends may call at the home of his son, Lee Henry.
