Mrs. Ruby Darley, age 87, of Soperton died Thursday, December 24, 2015.

Mrs. Darley was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was preceded in death by her parents, Kyle Flanders Pierce and Ella Mae Walker Pierce, her sisters, Sue Kier, Lotus Carroll, Christine Ricker, Grace Bennett, and Pauline Williams, and her brothers, Flanders Pierce, Cecil Pierce, and Robert Pierce.
She was retired from Treutlen County Service Center and attended Soperton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-seven years, J. C. Darley; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Kenneth Sweat of Wrightsville; granddaughters, Kim (Charles) Greenway of Wrightsville and Vicki (Eric) Hein of Newnan; great-grandchildren, Aiden Greenway, Kendall Greenway, and Ella Rae Hein; brother, Ronald (Anne) Pierce of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held in Soperton United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 27, with Reverend John Drake officiating. Burial was in Midway Cemetery, Treutlen County, with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Tony Tankersley, Rodney Meeks, Trellis Peebles, Garlon Carter, Donnie Peebles, and Ronnie Youmans.
