Mrs. Ruby Faye Lawrence Connell, age 64, of Vidalia died Sunday, April 2, 2017.

Mrs. Connell was a native of Treutlen County, where she had lived for most of her life.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Lawrence and Bernice Dorsey Lawrence, and her husband, Larry Connell.  She was a homemaker and attended Mount Vernon Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include a son, Shannon Page of Vidalia; sister, Bonnie Gail Roberson of Soperton; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several cousins and a host of friends.

Services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, with the Reverend Ray Wood officiating.  Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Treutlen County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
