Mrs. Sady Pearl Coleman Byrd, age 86, formerly of Soperton passed away on Tuesday afternoon, September 29. 2020 at Glenwood Healthcare in Glenwood, Georgia.

Born in Treutlen County, she was one of several children born to the late Nicholas and Bertha Beasley Coleman. She had lived and worked in Newark, NJ for many years before returning to Soperton in the late 1980s. After returning to Treutlen County, she worked at Big Al's in Higgston, the Vidalia School System Cafeteria and Meadows Regional Hospital's Dietary Department.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Larch Byrd and a son, Jack Byrd.

Mrs. Byrd leaves behind, a son, James Edward Byrd, Oklahoma City, OK, sisters, Clarsia Coleman Gillis, Vidalia, Geraldine Coleman Cauley, Soperton, brothers, William Coleman, Venice, FL, Sterling Coleman, Vidalia, grandchildren, Cheyenne Byrd, William Larch Byrd, Clara Byrd and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside in Beasley Cemetery at 12:00 noon, on Friday, October 2, 2020.

Her family will receive friends at the graveside.
