Sandra Lillian Wilkes Dudley, age 37, of Laurens County, formerly of Adrian, passed away on Saturday morning, July 4, 2026 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.

Born in Laurens County, she was the youngest of four daughters born to Ernest Ronnie Wilkes and the late Sheila Faye Lee Wilkes.

Sandra grew up in the Rockledge Community and was a graduate of East Laurens High School, Class of 2007, where she was an Honor Graduate.  After high school she attended Middle Georgia State University, Dublin Campus.  Sandra had worked her entire working career in the medical field, most recently as Team Leader.  She had lived in Adrian for seventeen years until recently returning to Rockledge within the past three years.

An avid animal lover, she enjoyed breeding and raising Boxers, loved her horse, Alvin, and enjoyed watching the sport of hockey.

Sandra was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in East Dublin.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ernest and Lillian Wilkes, her maternal grandparents, Ray and Betty Lee and maternal grandmother, Martha Jean Evans.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Chace Dudley, her parents, Ronnie and Cheryl Wilkes, Rockledge, GA; her sisters, Stefanie Strickland, Rockledge, Stacey Powell (Steven), Soperton, Sherri Lee (Ed), Marietta; and nieces, Hannah Strickland, Logan Powell and Emily Powell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, July 6, 2026 in the Billy Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Haywood officiating.

Sandra will be laid to rest beside her mother in the Rockledge Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, at Sammons Funeral Home, from 2:00 o'clock p. m. until the hour of service.
