Sharon Ann Toler Jones, age 62 of Soperton, passed away at the home of her daughter on Monday evening, July 22, 2019.

Born in Soperton, she was the eldest of four children born to Louise Watts Toler and the late Clifford Toler. Sharon grew up in Soperton and was a graduate of Treutlen County High School, Class of 1975. After high school she attended Middle Georgia University in Cochran where she graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing. She had worked as a Registered Nurse at various local healthcare and assisted living facilities before joining the staff of Willow Wood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Flowery Branch, GA. While at Willow Wood Sharon worked as a Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing and Administrator before retiring in May of 2017.

She enjoyed crafting, time spent with her family, writing children's stories and her daily dose of the Hallmark Channel and the Golden Girls.

Sharon was presently attending the Anchor of Hope in Soperton.

She leaves behind: her children, Chris Jones (Melissa), Eatonton, GA, Miranda Horton (Wesley), Soperton, GA, Charlotte Page (Grant), East Dublin, GA, her mother, Louise Toler, Soperton, GA, her siblings, Susan Phillips (Billy), Jeff Toler (Tammy), Tonya Love (Dwight, all of Soperton, grandchildren, Kayleigh, Kaleb, Grayson, Destiny, Trystan and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2019 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Pastor Gilbert Posey officiating.

Sharon will be laid to rest in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Wesley Horton, Clayton McCoy, Craig Phillips, Derrick Phillips, Matthew Toler and Grant Page.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Billy Phillips and Don Horton.

Friends may call at the home of Billy and Susan Phillips or her family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Following the service on Friday, Sharon's family will receive friends in the fellowship hall at the Anchor of Hope.
