Stella Thigpen Graham, affectionately known as Ma! Ma! age 80, of Soperton, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
Mrs. Graham was born on March 17, 1946 in Lovett, Georgia. She was the fifth born of ten siblings. She retired after 37 years of dedicated service at Forstmann Inc. After retiring, she continued to work at the 221 C Store and Kenny Lee's Nursery. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed numerous hobbies of attending to her flowers, playing cards, cooking, fishing and reminiscing with family and friends.
Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by her parents, George Easton Thigpen and Lonie Sterling Thigpen and siblings; David Thigpen, Howell Thigpen, Robert Thigpen, Richard Thigpen, Emily Imhoff, Catherine Snell and Gloria Downs, as well as, her former late husband of 35 years, Chester Lee Graham.
Survivors include: her daughters, Linda (Roy) Zeagler and Nancy (Dale) Smith of Adrian; Grandchildren, Matthew (Carmen) Vick, Nikki (Robbie) Johnson, Trenton (Meghan) Smith, Benjamin Smith, Chris (Kayla) Tarpley; Great-grandchildren, KyLeigh Rose Baggett, Laura Olivia Vick, Maverick Orion Vick, Shiloh Graham Vick, Sadie Rae Smith, Emma Grace Smith and Vada Rae Tarpley; Siblings, Delores Graham of Dublin and Ellen Kenny of Gainesville, FL; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 o'clock a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from the graveside in Pleasant Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, East Dublin, Georgia with Pastor Al Soles officiating. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, at the gravesite, from 10:00 o'clock am until the hour of service.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Matthew Vick, Trenton Smith, Benjamin Smith, Chris Tarpley, Robert Hooks and John Hooks.
