Talina Fay Griner, age 51, of Dublin passed away on Friday morning, October 7, 2022 at Dublinaire Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dublin.

Born in Dublin, she was one of five children born to Russell Lee Griner and the late Shirley Fay Foskey Griner.  Talina grew up in Soperton and was a graduate of Treutlen County High School, Class of 1988.  She later attended Oconee Fall Line Technical College where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Business and Technology.

During high school, she started working with Wal Mart in Vidalia before being promoted into the Management Training Program and transferring to the Dublin store.  Talina later ran the Movie Gallery in Soperton and worked with Roche Farm and Garden, Eldorado Stone and Erdich Manufacturing in Dublin until 2015.

She enjoyed making jewelry and working on and diagnosing computer problems.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by an infant sister, Lisa Griner, her paternal grandparents, Preston and Betty Griner and her maternal grandparents, Earl and Mary Elizabeth Foskey.

Talina leaves behind her children, Makayla Griner, Dublin, GA, Brandon Rozier, Vienna, GA, her father, Russell Griner (Celia), Soperton, GA, her siblings, Belinda King (Joseph), Vidalia, GA, Russell Craig Griner (Jodi), Soperton, GA, Cale Curtis Griner, Soperton, GA, and her grandchildren, Kayden Mowatt, Ace Harmon, Kyson Harmon, Akier Atkins, Khalaya Rozier, Braylee Rozier, Aubrie Rozier and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:30 pm on Sunday, October 9, 2022 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home.

Talina will be laid to rest beside her mother in Red Bluff Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, at the funeral home, from 5:30 pm until the hour of service.
