Tammy Poole, age 52 of Soperton, joined the choir of angels on Saturday morning, June 18, 2022 while surrounded by her family at her home.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, she was the second born of seven children in her family.  At an early age her family moved to Soperton where Tammy made her lifelong home.

Her passion was her family and helping others.  She was selfless to a fault and always put others before herself.

Tammy had been serving the Lord for over forty years and was a faithful member of the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church.

She is preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Chamblee and a sister, Marie Chamblee.

Tammy leaves behind, her loving children, Brad Poole (Kayla), Mt. Vernon, GA, Justin Poole (Chelsea), Soperton, GA, Josh Poole (Jennifer), Soperton, GA and Haley Hoover (Blake), Stevenson, AL, her mother, Gloria Chamblee, Soperton, GA, her cherished grandchildren, Reaghan, London, Zoey, Remington, Brooklyn, Preslyn, Madilyn and Greyson, her siblings, Missy McDaniel (Stevie), Brunswick, GA, Sheila Chamblee, Swainsboro, GA, Jeannie Chamblee, Swainsboro, GA, Rachel Chamblee, Soperton, GA, Cheryl Chamblee, Tallahassee, FL, Woodrow Chamblee Jr., Vidalia, GA and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, 1584 GA Hwy. 46, Soperton, GA  30457 with Reverend Paul Beasley officiating.

Tammy will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Jarrid Wheeler, Cody Harrell, Steve McDaniel, Chad Slater, Steven Powell, Joel McDaniel, Derick Anderson and Riley Beasley.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the church.
