Teresa Holm Proctor, age 74, of Soperton passed away on Monday morning, July 28, 2025 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Born in Savanah, Georgia, she was the eldest of four children born to the late Robert Alvin Young and Myrtle Allene Gray Young.  She grew up in Garden City where she was a graduate of Groves High School, Class of 1968.  After completing high school, she married Jimmy Lee Holm who was serving in the United States Navy.  During their marriage they lived in Port Wentworth, GA, Grand Rapids MI, and San Diego, CA.  While living in San Diego, Jimmy Lee Holm perished in an onboard accident.  She later married Tommy Proctor and settled in Soperton.  After settling in Soperton she worked at T & J's, for approximately ten years.  She accepted a position with Parker Aerospace in Dublin where she manufactured parts in support of the Tomahawk Missile Program, until retiring in 2015.  Mr. Tommy Proctor passed away in 2018.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by an infant sister, Julie Young.

Teresa leaves behind: her children, Scott Lee Holm, Richmond Hill, GA, Tommy Proctor II, Soperton, GA, Cynthia Andrews (John), Dublin, GA, two sisters, Connie Ann Blackburn (Gregg), Clearwater, FL, Marie Strickland, Garden City, GA, Robert "Bobby" A. Young (Debbie), Elgin, SC, five grandchildren, Christopher Lee Andrews, Cooper Ryley Andrews (Shay Shillingburg), Brandon Holm, Brian Holm, Tyler Aiden Holm, a great grandson, Brandon Holm Jr., and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be conducted in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at a later date with her brother, Robert A. Young officiating.
