Terri Ellen Peterson of Fulshear, Texas passed away on September 11, 2021 at the age of 62 after a brief battle with cancer.

Terri was born in North Miami, Florida.  She was preceded in death by her mother Rosaline Fooden Goodman, father Jack Whitney Goodman of South Florida and brother Mark Goodman of Kendall, Florida.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years William Peterson, sons William Peterson Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, Matthew Peterson and his wife Laurie of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Daniel Peterson of Austin, Texas, David Peterson of Fulshear, Texas, brother Dr. Bruce Goodman of Nashville, Tennessee and brother Mitch Goodman of San Jose, California.

Terri was active in service work during high school as a member of the Leo Club. She attended

Tulane University from 1976 to 1978 and received a B.S degree in Business Administration with

honors from the University of Florida in 1980.  She received a Juris Doctorate in Law and Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1984 where she was on Law Review and Law Review Articles Editor. During law school she clerked at McCune, Hiaasen Crum, Ferris and Gardner in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and the Office of the State Attorney, Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami, Florida. She was a member of the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of Georgia.  She practiced Securities law from 1984 to 1992 at Harkleroad & Hardy and Smith Gambrell & Russell both in Atlanta, Georgia and Sheinfeld Maley & Kay in Houston, Texas.

Terri was a loving wife and mother. After her professional career, she dedicated her life to raising her four children in Cary, North Carolina from 1996 to 2010 and in Fulshear, Texas from 2011 to 2021.

Her final resting place is the Peterson family cemetery in Ailey, Georgia.
