Mr. Timothy Allen "Tim" Edenfield, age 59 of Gray, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at his home.

Born in Apopka, Florida, he was the youngest of two sons born to the late Tommy "Jack" and Frances "Sis" Jeanette Durden Edenfield.  Tim grew up in Fort Pierce, Florida and was a graduate of Westwood High School, Class of 1983.  He lived and worked in Florida until moving to the Macon, Georgia area in the mid 1990s.  He remained in Macon for a short time before settling in Gray, GA.  Tim had worked as a Meat Cutter for Publix Supermarkets for approximately forty years before retiring.

As a young man living in Florida he enjoyed surfing, scuba diving and fishing with his dad.  He also made many surfing trips, traveling to destinations such as Costa Rica, Mexico and his favorite, Barbados.

In later years he came to enjoy hunting and cooking for his beloved family.

Tim leaves behind his sons, Tyler Kelley (Brianna), Tanner Edenfield, Travis Edenfield (Sydney), Cameron Wooster and his daughter, Taylor Edenfield; all of Gray, GA, his brother, Mike Edenfield (Linda), Taylor County, GA, a special cousin, Tony Taylor, Vero Beach, FL, grandchildren, Dawson, Piper Grace Kelley, Everly and Sophie Edenfield; nieces, Melanie, Amanda, Sarah, Kritty and a nephew, Matthew.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from the graveside in the Durden Family Cemetery in Soperton, Georgia.

His family will receive friends on Sunday, at Sammons Funeral Home, from 2:00 pm until time to depart for the cemetery.
