Mr. Walter Joyce, Jr., age 81, of Mount Vernon died January 10, 2017.

Mr. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Joyce, Sr. and Nellie Edge Joyce, and his brother, Douglas Joyce.  He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his children, Walter C. Joyce of Danville, Angelia Ester (Angel) Cardona of Swainsboro, Victor Floyd Joyce and David Michael Joyce, both of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special companion, Bessie Joyce of Mount Vernon; brother, Ralph Joyce of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services.
