Mr. Waylon "Scott" Daniels, age 40 of Adrian passed away on Saturday morning, December 25, 2021 at the Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Scott was a native and lifelong resident of Laurens County and the Adrian area.  He was the youngest of five sons born to Ray and Beulah Daniels.  Scott was a graduate of East Laurens High School where he played football.  He has always worked in the Construction Industry as a Carpenter; starting at a very early age tagging along behind his father who was the founder and owner of Daniels Construction Company as well as Scott's mentor.  Scott worked alongside his father for many years; recently taking over much of the operation and daily responsibilities.

In his spare time Scott enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and grilling with family and friends.

Scott is preceded in death by three brothers, Steve Ussery, Dale Daniels and Gene Ussery.

He leaves behind, his longtime companion, Shantal Smith, Adrian, GA, his parents, Ray and Beulah Daniels, Adrian, GA, children, Kassidy Daniels, East Dublin, GA, Payton Daniels, East Dublin, GA, Catlyn Smith, Adrian, two brothers, Douglas Ussery, East Dublin, GA, Billy Ray Daniels, Dublin, GA a grand daughter, Paisley Morales and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Lee Shivers officiating.

Scott will be laid to rest beside his brothers in Pleasant Springs Cemetery, East Dublin, GA.

His family will receive friends on Wednesday, at the funeral home, from 1:00 pm until the hour of service.
