Mr. William Russell Hutcheson, age 65, of Soperton died Monday, September 19, 2016.

Mr. Hutcheson was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was preceded in death by his parents, Maide and Rosie Mae Phillips Hutcheson, brother, Norris Hutcheson, and sisters, Ruth Allen and Mary Ann Hutcheson. He was retired from Riverside Manufacturing Company, Wadley.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Wammock Hutcheson; sons, Will (Leigh) Hutcheson of Swainsboro, Eric (Janice) Hutcheson, Sr. of Ohio, and Joe (Crystal) Hutcheson of Soperton; step-daughter, Christy Morrison of Soperton; sisters, Gwendolyn Lumley of Adrian, Nana Lou (Charles) Jarriel of Lizella, and Darlene (Ted) Logan of Soperton; sister-in-law, Janet Hutcheson of Soperton; fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Wayne Hooks, Buddy Proctor, Devin Love, and Speck Hall.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, with Reverend Mark Hardin and Reverend Nick Hazelton officiating. Burial will be in Hutcheson Cemetery, Treutlen County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and may be reached at the family residence, 607 Clayhill Road, Soperton.
