Mr. William Larkin "Lark" Simons Jr., age 58 of Tarrytown passed away on Thursday afternoon, November 12, 2020 at his home.

Born in Laurens County, he was the son of the late William Larkin Simons Sr. and Grady Mae Walker Simons. He grew up in Dublin where he graduated from high school. After high school he served in the United States Navy. Upon being honorably discharged he moved to the family homestead in Montgomery County in the 1990s. He worked with his father as a Carpenter doing commercial and residential renovations throughout Southeast Georgia until retiring in 2006.

He had attended Clearview Baptist Church in Dublin.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, William L. Simons III and a niece Nora Suzanne McCullars.

Mr. Simons is survived by a son, William Dustin Simons, Jacksonville, FL, a sister, Michelle McCullars, Tarrytown, GA, a niece, Crystal Livingston (Jammie), Dublin, GA and his former wife, Velvet Hall, Jacksonville, FL.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 22, 2020 from the graveside in Tarrytown Cemetery with military honors.  He will be laid to rest beside his parents.
