Mrs. Willie Mae Delk, age 92 formerly of Greenville, SC passed away on Wednesday morning, January 31, 2018 at the Treutlen County Health and Rehab in Soperton, GA.

Born in Greenville, she was one of seven children born to the late Henry Brooks Foster and Louise Blackston Foster. Mrs. Delk grew up in Greenville and worked for a number of years at Southern Franklin Manufacturing before working for many years with the Greenville County Tax Collector's Office until retiring in 1965.  She remained in Greenville until moving to Soperton to be with her daughter in 2007.

While living in Greenville, she and her family attended the Pendleton Street Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles Marion Delk, who passed away in 2005 and two sisters, Inez Foster Goldey, Ramona Foster Willimon and a brother, William Foster.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Delk, Soperton, GA, three sisters, Gladys Foster Green, Greenville, SC, Henrietta Foster Langston, Greenville, SC, Christine Foster Reid, Easley, SC and many nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday in the Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Greenville, SC.

Mrs. Delk will be laid to rest beside her husband.
